Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Hanoi

The charm from the French era still emerges of the capital of Vietnam. City of broad boulevards lined with tamarind trees and numerous lakes, Hanoi combines harmoniously the levelness of the Old Quarters with remarkable colonial architecture arriving at Noi Bai airport, transfer to your hotel. You will have time to relax after your journey. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 Hanoi City Tour

You will spend the whole day to discover Hanoi charming ancient capital. Your guide will take you to the Tran Quoc pagoda, Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam dating back to the 11th century, and a popular attraction, as is Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, his simple stilt house where he lived and worked and the museum dedicated to his memory, One pillar pagoda. After lunch, you will move to Museum of Ethnology. Back to Hoan Kiem lake for experiencing sitting on a cyclo, the popular mean of transport in Hanoi, enjoying views of what is happening on the streets of the Old Quarter and then you will have tickets for a performance of traditional Water Puppetry (an art form unique to northern Vietnam, and an interesting, light-heated introduction to its rural culture).

Day 3 Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Halong

Cruise back to Le Tonkin, lazy on the top deck. Let spend time enjoying the beauty of creator. After having lunch on board with variety of local foods, back to Halong dock. Have a short break of 15 minutes and then en route to Hanoi. Dinner is for your choice before heading to train station for overnight train to Hue.

Day 4 On board cruise Halong bay

Pick you up at your hotel, on the way to Halong city enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life.
Lunch is served with a welcome drink while the boat cruises the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape. After visiting Amazing cave we stop at a floating house and go kayaking to Luon cave to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the bay. Overnight on board.

Day 5 Halong bay - Hanoi - fligth to Hue

Cruising to another part of Halong bay with a close up view of stunning limestone peaks such as Drum cave, Man’s head Islet. Heading to Van Gia fishing village you will have the opportunity to understand more about the fisherman’s daily life. Have lunch on board with a variety of local foods, enjoying the rest of the boat trip before getting back to the dock. Have a short break before en route to Hanoi.

Day 6 City Tour of Hue

Arrive in Hue station you will find our driver to pick up and transfer to hotel. The rest of morning should be relax, enjoy charming ancient citadel. In the afternoon our guide will come to show you half day city tour Hue with imperial citadel and Dong Ba market. After dinner enjoy traditional music performance on Perfume River. Overnight in Hue.

Day 7 Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An

Your morning will be taken up by a cruise along the Perfume River to the Thien Mu Pagoda, and then by road to the Royal Tombs of Emperor Khai Dinh and Imperial Citadel. Each Royal mausoleum reflects the personality of the Emperor it commemorates. The most majestic is that of Emperor Minh Mang, a staunch follower of Confucianism with many wives, concubines and a small army of children. Planned by the Emperor and built shortly after his death in formal Chinese style, it’s opulent and exotic, and a good example of classic Sino-Vietnamese architecture.

After lunch you will move to Hoi An on 4-hour land transfer. Arrive in Hoi An ancient town, transfer to your hotel for checking in and rest.

Day 8 Cham Island Tour

Day 9 Hoi An - My Son - Da Nang

We travel about 50km from Hoi An to My Son sanctuary. It comprises many Champa temples, in a valley roughly two kilometers wide, surrounded by two mountain ranges. It was the site of religious ceremony of kings of the Champa dynasty, and was also a burial place of Champa royals and national heroes. The My Son temple complex is one of the foremost temple complexes of Hinduism in South East Asia and is the foremost heritage site of this nature in Vietnam. Though the complex has been destroyed over time, we still see many majestic ancient ruins of temples in the area. And then we take a boat trip along the Thu Bon river. Have a lunch box, disembark sometimes to visit the handicraft pottery village located a long the riverside. Boating back to Hoi An old town.

Day 10 Da Nang - Nha Trang (flight)

Day 12 Nha Trang Beach

After breakfast, relax until you will be driven to the nearby Thap Ba hot spring spa. After relaxing in the mud baths and mineral water pools, you will be driven back to your hotel.

Day 13 Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City (flight)

Flight to Ho Chi Minh City. When you arrive, a private car will be waiting to take you to your hotel in the city center. You will be free for a preliminary wander around Saigon center. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 14 My Tho - Ben Tre in Mekong delta

We start the tour early, go ahead to Tien Giang. On arrival take a boat trip around four beautiful Islets: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise and Phoenix on Tien River. Through Xep canel to visit Mekong traditional houses at Quoi An village (make all from coconut tree). See coconut collection set and how the locals make handicrafts from coconut trunk and shell. Enjoy seasonal fruits and listening to traditional music. Take the horse-cart on village path and stop at Ben Truc orchard, taste honey with tea or wine. See bees-breeding in wooden boxes at local farms. Take rowing-boat on water palm creek. Have lunch on islets at the local house. Experience the friendliness and hospitality of the host. Boat to visit a coconut candy workshop, taste candy (Special products of Ben Tre province). Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 15 Cu Chi tunnels and Saigon City

Day 16 Ho Chi Minh - Departure

After breakfast you will be relax until our car will come and pick you up to the airport for your home bound flight.
