You will experience the real Vietnam, the contrast of traditional and historical Hanoi which has been one of the few cities in Asia left entirely void of the western-style boxy business architecture and vibrant and exciting Ho Chi Minh City (or Saigon), the heart and soul of Vietnam. It’s a bustling, dynamic and industrious center, the largest city in the country, the economic capital and the cultural trendsetter.
Day 1: Hanoi arrival
Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, welcomed by our guide and drive to your hotel in Hanoi downtown, time to relax after your journey. In the evening, you will enjoy a performance of traditional Water Puppet show (an art form unique to northern Vietnam, and an interesting, light-hearted introduction to its rural culture).

Enjoy the savor of Hanoi specialty – take your pick from traditional Hanoi Pho (beef noodle soup), Nom (green papaya salad with seasoned beef), Banh Goi (pillow-shaped rice pastry with minced pork and mushroom), Banh Cuon (hot rice paper with pork and fried onion) or Bun Cha (fresh noodle with grilled pork). If you are hungry, try two or three varieties – they are snacks rather than a meal.

Day 2: Hanoi Tour (B, L)
You will spend the whole day to discover Hanoi charming ancient capital. Your guide will take you to the Tran Quoc pagoda, Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam dating back to the 11th century, and a popular attraction, as is Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, his simple stilt house where he lived and worked and the museum dedicated to his memory, One pillar pagoda.
Get to downtown for refreshment by Hoan Kiem Lake, visit Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword Lake) with Ngoc Son Temple. Experience sitting on a cyclo, the popular mean of transport in Hanoi, enjoying views of what is happening on the streets of the Old Quarter Hanoi.
After lunch, you will moved to Van Phuc silk village a small village where family worked in weaving and dying silk over centuries, once the creators of fine material for the robes of the Royal court, learn about silk making process and shop for finest silk products in Van Phuc village.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong bay cruise (B, L, D)
Morning depart from your hotel for Halong city, the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Short break on the way.
Arrive in Tuan Chau marina, board a traditional cruiser. Lunch is served with a welcome drink while the boat cruising the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape like Fighting cock, Dog Rock and Incense Burner.. After visiting Amazing cave we stop at a floating house and go kayaking to discover the remote area and quiet atmosphere of Halong bay. Overnight on board.
Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
Cruising to another part of Halong bay with a close up view of stunning limestone peaks such as Drum cave, Man’s head Islet. Heading to Van Gia fishing village you will have the opportunity to understand more about the fisherman’s daily life. Have lunch on board with a variety of local foods, enjoying the rest of the boat trip before getting back to the dock. Have a short break before en route to Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh (B, L)
At your leisure until transferring to the airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh city (also known as Saigon). On arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City, meet our local guide and transfer to your hotel.
Afternoon city tour Saigon to discover vibrant Saigon metropolis city. Saigon city tour begins at the century-old Reunification Palace, which witnessed the growth of Ho Chi Minh City during peacetime and throughout the Vietnam War until its end in 1975.
Continue to the nearby French colonial area, including a stop at the impressive Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral, discover the magnificent neo-Romanesque architecture as you take in the tranquil atmosphere inside. At the opposite Central Post Office, one of the oldest buildings in Ho Chi Minh City, learn about this significant landmark. Time permits, visit Ben Thanh Market, a lively market in central District 1.
Day 6: Saigon – Mekong Delta (B, L)
Exotic life in Mekong Delta will value your stay in Vietnam with unforgettable memories, unique experience and chance of communicating with such friendly and hospitable local.
We start the tour early morning, go ahead to My Tho where will expose the colorful outskirt life, picturesque rice fields along the journey. Upon arrival, take a boat trip on Mekong River with various stop at the villages (islets), visit the authentic life of the local at a coconut candy workshop, learn how to make coconut candy. Continue walking on the village’s road and ride a horse-drawn carriage along village road to the next stop and taste fresh honey and seasonal fruits while listening musicians perform traditional folk music.
An adventurous sampan ride in palm shading creeks will be the next experience of the riverside region to the Turtle island, a beautiful natural spot. Sit down for a delicious traditional lunch with the Mekong Delta specialty – Deep fried elephant ear fish and many local delicacies.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon. If you are interested, stop on the way to visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the most beautiful ancient pagodas of the Mekong Delta.
Day 7: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi tunnels – Departure (B, L)
Cu Chi, a system of tunnels combining to form an underground city during the American/Vietnam War. It is legendary for its network of underground tunnels, which extends over 220km, and is a popular destination for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors.
A morning drive will take you to visit the famous Cu Chi tunnels, a Byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers, rooms and booby traps used by both the Vietminh and the Vietcong to suddenly materialize as if from nowhere, launch a lightning ambush, you will watch a short introductory video on the tunnels construction and explore the maze of tunnels.
Afternoon, transfer back to Saigon. Our fantastic holiday comes to an end after dropping you off at the airport for your departure flight.
