Day 1. Arrival in Hanoi
Arrival in Hanoi, meet our guide and transfer to your hotel in downtown for checking in. Rest of your time is at leisure.
Day 2. Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L)
8.00 pick up at your hotel for the journey East of Hanoi (approximately 3.5 hours) to Halong City, the gateway to Halong Bay. En route you will pass fields of busy workers farming their rice fields using traditional methods of cultivation.
12.00 Arrive in Halong and on aboard a traditional wooden junk. Lunch is served while cruising around this magnificent bay and among thousands islands that jut out of the sea with its spectacular natural environment – you will also have the opportunity to stop at two of the many grottoes. The first stop on this four-hour cruise is Dong Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace Grotto), located on a remote island in the bay. As the name suggests, the cave adorned with fantastic stalactites and stalagmites. Colored lights transform the scene into a fairytale palace. Dau Go Cave with History of Vietnam’s fight Mongolian 13th Century.
Continue cruising to the southern part of the Bay, where we will admire view of many strange-shaped islands. Cruise back to Halong City, get on car and return to Hanoi.
Day 3. Hanoi Heritage Explore – Train to Dong Hoi (B, L)
City tour of Hanoi includes the world cultural heritage at Thang Long imperial citadel, Ho Chi Minh complex, Temple of Literature, the Museum of Ethnology and the Old Quarter Hanoi. Enjoy a performance of Water puppet show and learn deeply about the culture of local Northern Vietnam.
Day 4. Phong Nha – Ke Bang – Paradise cave (B, L)
Early pick up at railway station in Dong Hoi city. Have breakfast at restaurant and head out for Phong Nha – Ke Bang national park. Arrive in Phong Nha take lunch and then leave for the wonderful view of Phong Nha cave along Son river by boat, through the forest, stopping to visit Cung Dinh, Tien, Bi, Ky caves. After that drive back to Dong Hoi city. Check in your hotel for the night in Dong Hoi.
Day 5. Dong Hoi – Hue (B, L)
After breakfast our car will arrive to drive you to Hue. Arrive in Hue check in your hotel and then visit Imperial Citadel of Hue and the Dong Ba market. Enjoy traditional music on Perfume River. Your overnight will be in Hue.
Day 6. Hue Heritage tour (B, L)
Visit Hue heritage city, first you will cruise along the Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu pagoda, a tranquil pagoda on the banks of the Perfume River. From there, you have driven to the tomb of Emperor Minh Mang, Emperor Khai Dinh. After that, you will return to Hue to visit one of city’s ‘garden houses’ and then return to your hotel to freshen-up. Overnight in Hue.
Day 7. Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An (B, L)
Morning transfer to Hoi An, On the road via sightseeing Marble mountains, the high mountain pass of Hai Van, Lang Co beach, the lagoon far below with Da Nang spread out. Explore the ancient city of Hoi An which former name’s Faifo where there were a lot of Chinese living together with the Japanese and Vietnamese, the highlights will be Phuc Kien Communal House, Tan Ky ancient commercial house, Japanese covered Bridge, and Phung Hung Ancient Trading House. Late afternoon bike tour to Cua Dai beach (5km from the central city). Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 8. Hoi An – My Son (B, L)
Transfer to My Son, a World Heritage, 50 km southwest of Hoi An. Located in a lush valley, My Son was a capital and religious center of Cham people, now remaining with red brick towers and sanctuaries. When you return, the rest of the day will be free. You will spend the night in Hoi An.
Day 9. Da Nang – Hanoi (or Ho Chi Minh) – Departure (B)
Our fantastic holiday come to an end. Relax until transferring to Da Nang airport for your flight to next destination or departure.
