Perfume Pagoda – Ninh Binh 3 Days 2 Nights

Morning pick up at your hotel, depart for Pefume pagoda. It’s about two hours drive through the picturesque countryside and back roads to the village of Duc, where we get on a small boat for a one hour trip up Yen stream to Thien Tru pagoda. The boat journeys down a narrow flowing stream fringed by rice fields, temples and grass and you will have the option to stop and visit some of these temples before heading to Huong Tich cave.

You may trek up (or take cable car to the mountain) to Perfume pagoda (top of the mountain), enjoy the spectacular landscape and learn more about typical Vietnamese Buddhist religious.

Descending and have lunch at restaurant. Then get back to Thien Tru quay to visit more beautiful and precious sculptures, taking photos, worshiping, getting on boat again back to the wharf and drive to Tam Coc in Ninh Binh, check in your stay and overnight in Tam Coc.

Enjoy a peaceful morning and have breakfast at hotel/stay. Start the day with a work-out to ride a bike to Tam Coc and board a small sampan to visit Tam Coc which means literally “Three Caves”. With Halong bay type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious yet inviting caves, as well as countryside landscape like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields.. You will feel the fresh air and peaceful moments, a very good opportunities for photo lovers, freezing the special moments and scenery.

Back to your hotel/homestay for lunch and rest.

Afternoon, continue on to Bich Dong pagoda, and climb up the mountain to have a wonderful perspective view of the Bich Dong and Tam Coc.

Continue to Thung Nham bird park, you explore the mermaid cave and Hang But (Buddhist Cave), about 500m in length, magical view of the stalactites and stalagmites, including a big Buddha-shaped stalactite sitting beside an underground river, as well as visit orchard of tropical fruits in this area.

Then get on a small sampan to visit Thung Nham bird park, discover the most features of this area with more than 4000 birds of 40 species flying to inhabit every day. Your best chance to take nice photos.

Drive to visit the Buddha Prayer place in Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters height, 100 tons weight.

Continue to visit Trang An Scenic Landscape complex nearby which recently recognized as an UNESCO World natural heritage, get on a rowing boat (small sampan) traveling along the small river with scenic mountain and green fields landscape. Boat takes you to visit cave complex of Trang An: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, the scenery of mountain and rivers – Halong on land of Ninh Binh.

Have lunch at a local restaurant before driving back to Hanoi. Drop off at your hotel. End of the tour.
