Hanoi – Halong – Sapa

Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, welcomed by our guide and drive to your hotel in Hanoi downtown, time to relax after your journey. Afternoon walking tour of Hanoi old quarter, wandering around and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the Old quarter Hanoi, explore the winding lanes and stop for coffee at local café or taste some local street food if you wish, stop for a chat; local people are busy but friendly if you take time to connect. Enjoy a performance of traditional Water Puppetry, an art form unique to northern Vietnam.

Enjoy the savor of Hanoi street food, take a walk through Hanoi’s Old Quarter street markets with a local guide who’s passionate about food, and discover the exotic flavors of Vietnam. Taste as many of street food as you can and learn about local diversity of food and culinary.

Overnight in Hanoi.

Morning depart for Halong bay. We then board on a traditional wooden sailing junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Halong Bay, giving us the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site, enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape with Fighting cock, Dog Rock and Incense Burner. Halong is an excellent example of a Karst landscape with its 2000 islands created by a complex chain during millions of years of geological movement.

Lunch will be served on board with sumptuous fresh, local seafood.
Afternoon enjoy a swim and kayaking to explore some of the limestone caves in this area. When the sun comes down we drop anchor for the night nearby a remote island.

Cruising to another part of Halong bay with a close up view of stunning limestone peaks such as Drum cave, Man’s head Islet. Heading to Van Gia fishing village you will have the opportunity to understand more about the fisherman’s daily life. Have lunch on board with a variety of local foods, enjoying the rest of the boat trip before getting back to the dock. Have a short break before transferring back to Hanoi.

20.00 transfer to railway station to get on a night train Sapa.

Arrive to Lao Cai station, meet our driver and drive uphill to the beautiful town of Sapa. The ride gives you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces and landscape. Upon arrival in Sapa Town, you have breakfast at local restaurant. The rest of morning walk around Sapa town, discover colorful ethnic market.

Check in your hotel and have lunch at restaurant.

Afternoon prepare for a great trek down to the picturesque valley of Muong Hoa. We will walk on small paths and trails to reach Lao Chai and Ta Van Village to visit the Tay and Day tribes then keep going along the bottom of the Sapa valley. After that our car await and transfer back to your hotel in Sapa.

Overnight in Sapa.
You can opt for a homestay accommodation at the village Ta Van, and trek further to Giang Ta Chai village

Breakfast at hotel. Get ready for a short trek to Cat Cat village, you first sneak through the market and leave the busy town behind. After a couple of minutes, you will follow a road going down hill to Cat Cat village. You will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station. Take a rest here before you trek downhill to get Sin Chai village. Enjoy beautiful scenery on the way back to Sapa town for lunch.

Free time to discover by yourself in the afternoon. Dinner is on your choice. Back to hotel for shower and then our car will transfer to Lao Cai station for overnight train back to Hanoi.

Arrive in Hanoi, driver await to transfer to restaurant for breakfast.

Be relaxed until our car come to take you to Hanoi airport for your onward flight.
