Halong Bay – Ninh Binh 3 Days 2 Nights

Morning pickup at your hotel and depart for Halong bay. We then board on a junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Halong Bay, giving you the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site, enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape with Fighting cock, Dog Rock and Incense Burner. Halong bay is an excellent example of a Karst landscape with its 2000 islands created by a complex chain during millions of years of geological movement.

Lunch will be served on board with sumptuous fresh, local seafood.
Afternoon enjoy a swim and kayaking to explore some of the limestone caves in this area. When the sun comes down we drop anchor for the night nearby a remote island.

Sunrise breakfast and cruise around the clear & emerald water to another part of Halong bay with a close up view of stunning limestone peaks, keeping on another side toward Halong harbor. Check-out and enjoy the lunch (or brunch) on board. Disembark at Halong dock, have short break before our driver pick you up for the transfer to Ninh Binh (3.5 hours).

Afternoon, hop on a bike and cycle to Mua cave (Hang Mua) and walk up to the peak of the mountain for the panoramic view of stunning countryside of Tam Coc with rice fields, buffalo, goats…  Descending and visit Hang Mua and a fairy stream for relaxing.

Free on your leisure, spend the night in Ninh Binh.

Welcome a new day with sunrise breakfast at hotel then pay a visit to morning local market to see how local people sell and shop with authentic goods that you never see in the tourist places. Then enjoy the exciting boat trip to Tam Coc, sailing through caves and stunning river, fields surrounded by limestone karsts.

Finish the boat trip, check out your hotel and have lunch at a restaurant.

Continue our trip and pay a visit to Hoa Lu – the ancient Royal Capital of Vietnam, visit the two temples: Temple of King Dinh and King Le, admire the unique architecture from ancient times, learn about history and culture of ancient Vietnamese.

Return to Hanoi late afternoon. End this tour at your hotel.
